COVID-19: Important information for your stay at our hotel

Ladies and gentlemen,
dear guests,

We take your safety and well-being, as well as the one of our employees, as our utmost priority; therefore we have implemented and adhere to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and disinfection to address COVID-19 in collaboration with international medical experts and following the recommendations of the Robert-Koch Institute and the current Corona ordinance of the federal state of Thuringia. Please note that the federal regulations are subject to constant change, therefore all information on this website is without guarantee. We try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

An overview of our measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in the different hotel areas:



Who is authorised to stay at our hotel?

Proof of full vaccination or recovery must be presented upon arrival. Hotel guests staying for business reasons that cannot be postponed must present either valid proof of vaccination or recovery or a negative antigen or PCR test result.

Is the wearing of a mask mandatory in the hotel?

Yes, a surgical mask or an FFP2 mask must be worn at all times in all public hotel areas.


Further measures taken by the hotel:

  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in all public hotel areas like lobby, reception, restaurant or meeting rooms.
  • Public areas are cleaned and disinfected with increased frequency.
  • To protect both guests and employees, the front desk is fitted with plexiglass panes.
  • Access to the restaurant, toilets and lifts is limited to a certain number of people. For more information please refer to the signage on site.
  • A one-way system is in place in all public hotel areas. For instructions, please refer to the on-site signage.
  • Information on distance, hygiene and mask regulations is clearlys signposted in all public hotel areas.
  • Virus-killing agents are used for the cleaning of all areas.


Access to the restaurant is only granted to people who can present proof of full vaccination or recovery.



Breakfast will be served as our regular buffet between 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Please book a timeslot at the front desk in advance.



The restaurant is open daily between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Please book a table in advance.



In compliance with the current regulations, the hotel bar remains closed until further notice.


Room service

Due to the current situation we do not offer room service until further notice.


Half board

You can choose between breakfast and half board when booking.

Wellness & Fitness


Pool and sauna

Our swimming pool and the saunas unfortunately remain closed until further notice.


Massages and beauty treatments

Massages and beauty treatments cannot take place currently.
